I am a librarian by day and a writer by night. Except writing isn't really something you do; it's who you are. I am constantly observing and trying to process all that I see, feel and think by putting it into writing. Writing captures thoughts the way photography captures images: it makes them immortal.

I managed John Ehret High School library serving students grades 9-12 and faculty in accordance with school policy, curriculum and mission statement. I developed the resource collection, instructed students and faculty in proper and ethical use of resources, and designed creative ways to involve students with the library and instill a love of lifelong learning.

I developed and presented creative programs to patrons of all ages at the Daniel Boone branch of St. Louis County Library. I assisted patrons with research and technology resources, provided excellent customer service and established and maintained accurate patron records.
